I know what it means to applaud an officer or recognise his work. When you shower encomium on a soldier, only then is he able to stand firm and be on the alert in a time of crisis when his services are most needed.
The morale of the Nigerian military needs to be boosted and that is what I set out to achieve with this my song.”
