Joy Peter popularly known as J Bass, is a Nigerian Female Pro Bass player, music couch, video editor, Graphic Designer, Computer Scientist.
She started her Music Journey in 2015 at Planet Shakers music Academy Kogi State where she later moved to Abuja
She has played on great platform and performed with renounce musicians and bands, She has featured in many videos, etc.

Okay! J-Bass is currently the bass player for the two Nigerian award winning gospel music acts. Chris Morgan and Owie Abutu.
She has received significant critical acclaim throughout her career including winning the Agmon best female bassist among 6 nominees which are Bassmatics of Coza, Bazzik, Emma Hand of God and many others. She has bagged several mouth watering nominations at different times in the Nigeria entertainment sphere.
When asked what motivated her into this career, Joy simply says it’s Passion and the love of music.
Citing Scottbass of the United State as her role model, J-bass says her dream is to own a world class band in this part of the world. all to herself
J-bass is indeed an experienced bass player and as above average general instrument player, she is also a voice couch and a music director that prefer to create than to copy.
